Is there an age restriction
to apply for the High School Adult Program? Is the Program fully accredited? Will I be able to attend
any Colleges? How long does it take to complete the program and receive the High School
Diploma? Do I have to attend classes? Can I speak with a counselor prior to my appointment? What are your procedures? Are there flexible hours for working individuals? Is there a fee for the consultation and for the placement test? Is there a fee for the program? Is there a Graduation Ceremony?
Yes, you must be at least 17 years old and have officially withdrawn from school.
Yes, all of FSE's academic programs are fully accredited and recognized. 85%
of our graduates are attending colleges, universities, and technical schools
from all around the country.
Much depends on the individual's transfer credits from his or her previous high
school, life experience he or she has acquired since withdrawing from high school,
and his or her determination. Some of our students are able to successfully
complete the program in as little as 6 weeks.
No, classes are not mandatory unless you are seeking to join any of the military
branches. Although there are no mandatory classes, optional classes are offered
in Math and English for those who need to reinforce their skills before taking
the exams.
No, because of the high volume of telephone calls we are experiencing, our counselors
are unable to discuss the program over the telephone. However, we encourage
all interested in getting their High School Diploma to follow our procedures.
You must first make an appointment with one of our counselors, come in and fill
out an FSEapplication, then you will be given a placement test in order for
the counselor to evaluate whether or not you can qualify for the program and
lastly you will be interviewed by the counselor.
Absolutely, this program is designed to enable the student to work around his
or her schedule. We have long hours of operation including Saturdays.
No, there is no charge for the consultation, nor for the placement test.
Yes, there is a one time fee for the program, financial aid and scholarships
are available for those who qualify.
Yes, there are two Graduation Ceremonies. They are held twice a year, one in
June and the other in December.
